A large triangular shawl knit with a lovely flower pattern. Inspiration from a Japanese stitch pattern book led to this design. It is available in two versions both bottom up and top down -- knitter’s choice.

This pattern is available as both a top down and bottom up in a single PDF. You will receive the pattern for free if you purchase the kit either in store or online. 

The top down Harbord Shawl is knit in DK weight. We used 6 skeins of Rowan Felted Tweed DK, and 4.5mm (US7) needles.

The bottom up Harbord Shawl is knit in a Light Fingering weight.  We used 4 skeins of Shibui Pebble, and 4.0mm (US6) needles.

Must know how to knit, purl, and be comfortable using a cable needle. Will be working from a chart.
