AkiFuyu Shawl Designed for Kokon by Eri Shimizu

 

Aki fuyu - autumn and winter in Japanese - is a triangular shawl, knitted in one piece from the top down. It was designed with an image of the forest in these seasons

 

Techniques used to create this shawl: brioche, cables and smocking stitches 

 

Each kit consists of:

 

3  100G Limited Edition skeins of Kokon merino fingering weight yarn (100% Merino,320 metres / 349 yards)

1  20G Limited Edition skein of Kokon kidsilk (72% Kid Mohair/ 28% Silk,210 metres / 229 yards)

1 Limited Edition printed Project Bag (illustration by Karolina Skorka for KOKON)

1  copy of the pattern and a digital download code for the pattern
